1. The closing date for receipt of entry is 12.00pm GMT on the 1st March 2009. All entries must be made via the www.caskstrength.net website.
2. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
3. The winning entry will be selected at random by an independent judge and the winner notifed by Caskstrength.net no later than the 6th March 2009.
4. The prize is one 70cl bottle of Bowmore single malt Islay scotch whisky, released during the Feis Ile Islay Festival of Music and Whisky, 2008. No cash alternative will be offered.
5. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules, of which the entry instructions are part. Caskstrength’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Limit of one entry per person.
6. No responsibility will be accepted for lost, damaged or delayed entries. Proof of email dispatch will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
7. The prize will be dispatched to the winner within a reasonable time from the announcement of the winning entry. Caskstrength.net accept no liability if the prize is delayed, lost or damaged in transit.
8. The competition will be deemed to be held in England and English law shall apply to it.
9. The competition is only open to residents of the European Union, above the legal drinking age in the country in which they are resident. In addition, no entries can be accepted by persons who are resident in a country the laws of which prohibit their residents from entering competitions such as this one, or would preclude caskstrength.net from delivering the prize to them if they were to win the competition. Proof of eligibility may be required from the winning entrant.
10. Caskstrength.net reserve the right to withdraw the competition at any time, without exception.
11. The competition is promoted solely by Caskstrength.net and is affiliated to no other organisation.
